I have been working in the world of electronics and radio communications since leaving school, which was a long time ago! My first experience with electronic components was changing glass valves inside the backs of radios, which just shows how long ago I left school!
During my working life I have seen an incredible development in electronic components which has made possible the radio and communications equipment that we have today. From resistors which were wire wound to surface mounted microprocessors, cathode ray tubes to laser beams, technology is continually moving forwards swiftly but I am still as fascinated by it now as I was when I first left school. What I have discovered throughout my working life is that no matter how technology advances, it is always the quality and service levels of a company’s staff and management team that are most important; quality being the key word.
